MEE6 Pricing Explained (2026): What Premium Actually Costs

As of August 2026, MEE6 Premium — the subscription that unlocks the bot's full feature set — is priced like this:

Three things the pricing page doesn't shout:

1. It's per server, not per account. Premium unlocks one server. Run three communities, pay three times. The lifetime plan is at least transferable between servers — but only one at a time.

2. The countdown timer is theater. The "limited time 30% off" banner with a ticking clock has been running in some form for years. Treat the discounted price as the real price and the list price as the anchor.

3. MEE6 AI is a separate product. The AI features (chat, image generation, custom-bot personalities) are not included in Premium — they're their own subscription: Personal Basic at $41.88/yr, Personal Ultra at $119.88/yr, and server-wide plans from $3.49/mo. Premium + AI on one server can pass $90/year even with promos.

MEE6's free tier is real but tightly capped. From MEE6's own plan comparison, the limits that push servers to Premium:

• Custom commands: 50 free → 500 Premium
• Timed messages: 1 free → 100 Premium
• Reaction roles: capped at 40 (Premium removes limits across role tools)
• Ticket panel embeds: 0 free → 10 Premium (functional ticket setups are effectively Premium)
• Temporary channels: capped at 100
• Social alerts: the long platform list (YouTube, Twitch, X, TikTok, Instagram, Bluesky, Kick, RSS, podcasts) is Premium territory
• Cosmetics: custom bot name/avatar (Bot Personalizer), custom prefix, leaderboard vanity URL — all paid

The pattern: the free tier is a demo of each feature, and the moment your server depends on one, you've crossed into paid land. That's a legitimate business model — just budget for it going in.

Honest answer: it depends on how many of MEE6's specific plugins you'd actually use, and on how many servers you run.

Worth it when: you run one large community that leans on several Premium features at once (social alerts + tickets + heavy custom commands), you want the polish of the Personalizer, and $50/yr is cheaper than the volunteer-hours those features replace. The lifetime plan at ~$63–90 pays for itself against yearly in under two years — if MEE6 remains your bot that long.

Not worth it when:

• You only wanted one gated feature — paying $49.99/yr to lift a reaction-role cap is bad math when free bots do it uncapped
• You run multiple servers — per-server pricing multiplies fast
• You expected the AI in "Premium" — that's a second bill
• Your real goal is custom behavior MEE6 doesn't offer at any price

That last case matters more than people think: MEE6's paywall debate distracts from the fact that it's a fixed menu. If what you want isn't a MEE6 plugin, no tier unlocks it.
