Deploying Your Bot

Deploy your bot to VibeBot's managed cloud with one click.

Before You Deploy

Make sure you have:

Created at least one behavior for your bot
Connected your Discord server
Obtained your Discord bot token

Deployment Steps

Open Bot Configuration

Open your VibeBot dashboard and click on the bot you want to deploy.

Click Deploy Button

Find the Deploy button in the top right corner of your bot configuration page.

The button reads "Deploy" or "Deploy Bot" depending on your bot's current state.

Enter Discord Bot Token

A dialog will appear asking for your Discord bot token.

First time deploying?

Paste the bot token you got from Discord Developer Portal. If you haven't obtained one yet, follow our Discord Token Guide.

Redeploying?

If you previously deployed, your token is saved. Click Deploy to update your bot with the latest changes.

Confirm Deployment

Review the deployment details and click Deploy Bot or Confirm.

VibeBot validates your token, compiles your behaviors, and deploys your bot to the cloud.

Wait for Deployment

Your bot goes live once the build finishes, usually under a minute. A deploy can take up to 15 minutes before it times out. You'll see a progress indicator.

Bot online!

Deployment Successful

Your bot runs on VibeBot's managed cloud. The status indicator turns green and reads "Online".

After Deployment

Checking Bot Status

You can always check if your bot is online from your VibeBot dashboard. Look for the status indicator next to your bot's name:

Green: Bot is online and running
Red: Bot is offline or stopped
Yellow: Bot is starting up

Making Changes

Adding, editing, or removing behaviors requires a fresh deploy to take effect:

  • Make your changes in the bot configuration
  • Click "Deploy" again
  • The bot will update with your new configuration
  • You don't need to re-invite the bot to your server

Viewing Logs

Check your bot's logs from the dashboard to see what it's doing and diagnose any issues. Logs show triggers fired, actions executed, and any errors.

Troubleshooting

Deployment Failed

Common causes:

  • Invalid bot token. Verify you copied it correctly.
  • Missing privileged intents. VibeBot needs both Server Members and Message Content enabled.
  • Bot deleted on the Discord Developer Portal.

Bot Offline After Deployment

Try these steps:

  • Wait a minute or two for the bot to start.
  • Check that your plan is active (trial, Lite, or Pro).
  • Verify your bot token is still valid on Discord.
  • Redeploy.

Bot Not Responding to Commands

Checklist:

  • Confirm the bot is invited to your server.
  • Check that behaviors are enabled, not disabled.
  • Verify the bot has the permissions it needs.
  • Read the bot logs for error messages.
