Discord Reminder Bot
Schedule reminders, recurring announcements, and event countdowns. Per-channel, per-user, timezone-aware — never miss a server event again.
A reminder bot is the difference between a server where events get forgotten and one where the bot pings @event-attendees 15 minutes before kickoff every Tuesday. VibeBot handles one-shots, daily/weekly/monthly recurrences, and countdown timers — all configurable in the dashboard.
Everything you need
Powerful discord reminder bot features that work out of the box — no coding required.
One-Time Reminders
/remind me in 2 hours to take out the trash — DMs the user at the right moment. Or /remind here in 3 days to pings the channel.
Recurring Reminders
Every Monday at 9am, every 1st of the month, every 6 hours — full cron-like flexibility without writing cron syntax. Pick from presets or define your own.
Event Countdowns
Live-updating countdown to a future event. Shows in a pinned message: "Game night starts in 4d 12h 33m". Updates every minute until kickoff.
Subscriber Lists
Members opt into reminder topics ("game night", "movie night"). When the reminder fires, only subscribers get pinged — no @everyone fatigue.
Timezone-Aware
Set the reminder in your local time, and the bot fires it at the right UTC moment. Members see countdowns in their own timezone via /remind tz.
Reminder Log
See every reminder that fired, who set it, who saw it. Cancel an upcoming reminder before it fires. Edit text, time, or recipients without recreating from scratch.
Why VibeBot for Reminder Bot?
Most Discord reminder bots are either too simple (Reminder-bot's one-time DM) or too complex (full cron-syntax bots that require a manual). VibeBot lands in the middle: dashboard-driven scheduling for non-technical staff, with a /remind slash command for power users. The killer feature is the subscriber-list model — instead of @here-spamming the whole server every time movie night happens, members opt into the reminder topic, and only they get pinged. That single change cuts ping fatigue and bumps event attendance because the people who care actually show up. Plus: timezone math is handled (set in your local time, fires at the right UTC moment), recurrence is flexible (every other Tuesday at 8pm in 4 weeks → easy), and editing existing reminders is one click. No re-creating, no broken IDs.
How it works
Get your discord reminder bot running in three simple steps.
Set the reminder
Use /remind, the dashboard scheduler, or paste a cron expression. Pick the channel (or DM), the message, the recipients (specific role, @here, opt-in subscribers).
Configure recurrence
One-shot? Daily at 9am? Every Monday and Thursday? Pick from presets or build a custom schedule. Bot calculates the next fire time automatically.
Forget about it
Bot fires on schedule, every time. Doesn't care if you're asleep or the server's 100k members big. Reschedule or cancel anytime.
Built for every community

Recurring Server Events
Movie night every Friday, game night every Tuesday — bot pings opt-in subscribers 15 minutes before. No more "did anyone forget about tonight?" Slack-style scrambles.
Daily / Weekly Standups
For workplace and study servers — bot posts "what did you do today?" prompt at 5pm every weekday. Replaces Slack standup bots.
Tournament & Stream Schedules
Live-updating countdown pinned in #announcements. "Tournament starts in 6h 12m." When it hits zero, the message updates to "🔴 LIVE NOW" with a join link.
Personal Productivity
Members /remind me daily at 6am to drink water — DMs to the user only. The bot becomes a personal nudge tool inside the social space they already use.
Frequently asked questions
How precise are the reminders?
Reminders fire within 30 seconds of the scheduled time. The bot uses a persistent scheduler (Inngest under the hood) so reminders survive bot restarts and redeploys — set it today, fire it next month, no problem.
Can members set their own reminders?
Yes. /remind me, /remind @user, /remind here all work for any member by default. Staff-only mode locks the command to specific roles if you want to centralize scheduling.
Does it support cron syntax?
Yes — power users can paste a cron expression (e.g., "0 9 * * MON-FRI" for 9am weekdays). For non-technical users, the dashboard has visual presets (daily, weekly, monthly) that compile to cron under the hood.
Can reminders include role pings or buttons?
Yes. The reminder message can ping a role, attach a confirmation button ("I'll be there"), or include a custom embed with rich formatting. Buttons can trigger any custom action — track RSVPs, log attendance, etc.
What happens if the bot is offline when a reminder fires?
It catches up when it comes back online. Reminders that should have fired during downtime fire immediately on restart, with a "(delayed)" tag. No reminder is silently lost.
