How fast are video alerts?
Within 60-120 seconds of upload. Slightly slower than Twitch live alerts because YouTube uses polling instead of webhooks for video metadata, but still faster than the YouTube subscribe bell for most users.
Does it work for Shorts?
Yes. You can opt to alert for Shorts, regular videos, both, or neither. Most channels alert for regular videos but skip Shorts to avoid alert fatigue.
Do I need to authenticate with my Google account?
For public channel data (videos, livestreams, sub count), no — VibeBot uses public API endpoints. For private analytics (revenue, watch time, demographics), you'd authenticate with OAuth, but most channels skip this.
Will the same alert post twice if I edit my video title?
No — alerts fire once per video ID. Editing the title or description doesn't re-trigger. Re-uploading as a new video ID would, by design.
Can I track other channels, not just mine?
